Firebase not connected. The portal requires a Firebase project to store users and bookings. Please follow the setup instructions in the portal.html source code (search for FIREBASE_CONFIG).

Steps: create a free Firebase project → enable Firestore → paste your config into the FIREBASE_CONFIG object at the top of the script section.
